Below are a few words from Craig Zielke, the owner of Coral Coast Cabinets in Bundaberg:
“I have been working in the cabinet trade in Bundaberg, QLD for what seems like an eternity. I served my apprenticeship with Kev Zielke in Bundaberg, gaining my trade certificate in 1991. Once qualified, I then worked in a number of local cabinet making shops until I took on the position of manager at RZed cabinets in 1994.
RZed became Coral Coast Cabinets in 2005 when I purchased the business. Coral Coast Cabinets continued to trade from 3 Hill Street in East Bundaberg (where we had been for nearly 20 years) until January, 2013 when we were inundated with 2.1 metres of flood water (see photos here). I felt that I still had a lot to offer to my clients and the industry in general, so I made the decision to start up again in a brand new premises on higher ground.
In the time that I have owned the business I have been involved with many projects ranging from affordable homes where value for money has been of prime concern through to various high end solutions in both commercial and domestic environments.
The higher value projects cost more because of larger size, the use of premium materials and more time at the design stage. No matter the price range though, my concern is always that the job is carried out professionally and to the same standard.
I am a keen supporter and major sponsor of the Brother’s Aston Villa Senior Men’s Soccer Team.
